Zelena utopija

A marginalized city embarks on an ambitious endeavor to regain its lost reputation. Meanwhile, a far more radical movement is emerging on the city’s outskirts: a new civilization with a far higher goal, to become a true alternative to our flawed one, not only in the way we get our food but also in the way we live and socialize. Its home base is The Community Urban Garden. The garden’s ideologues brought in the nearby populace and guaranteed ecological food. But while this is a story of a community on its mission to find a better future, it struggles hard to avoid the old patterns of greed and sectarianism. Will it just become another failed social experiment or an embryo of something new and better?
 
Our work came out a study of human endeavor within the cycle of nature. In this 55’ long documentary we intertwine the life-stories of individuals and the story of the garden as a character in its own right.

Utopia in Green has struck a pertinent and acute theme and has seen wide acclaim and nation wide TV and cinema distribution.
